Success should really be an oBSeSSion. You must exercise PeRSeVeRance (PeRSeVeRo in Latin). Sorry, Polisson? « persevero is also Brown 🟤, and échouer in French is also Red 🔴• » OK, Polisson. The theme of failure, success and perseverance is again fundamental, and can be found everywhere, particularly in the Qur'an, and especially in the Gathas in Chant 7 (which relate to SeX). Here it goes (though it’s much clearer in the French translation): « Where are Thy persevering lovers (faithful devotees), O Mazda ... »
As Ecclesiastes so beautifully put it, there’s nothing new under the sun. Perseverance appears everywhere because it was a primordial virtue for our Paleolithic ancestors. Perseverance needed to transcend generations... Perseverance is something I'm familiar with, as I've been toiling for so long towards professional SuCCeSS (tuwShyah in Hebrew).
I know what SeXual SuCCeSS is: it’s when you've « found the RiGhT Shoe ». It's when my sex fits perfectly the curve of her sex. Success is when it FiTs, when it’s all right (Ça Va in French). When the « garment🧥 SuiTs the member, and the member suits the garment ». It's when the FuLL MoLDs the eMPTy, when two PieCes of a JiGSaW fit together PeRFectly - but we'll come back to jigsaws later on.
Lao Tzu clearly conveys this notion of interlocking and adaptation in his 23rd Chant: « He who FoLLoWs the Tao is at oNe with the Tao. He who is virtuous experiences ViRTue. He who LoSes the WaY is lost. When you are one with the Tao, the Tao WeLCoMes you ». This is another way of saying: « aSK and it will be given to you; SeeK and you will FiND; knock and the DooR will be oPeNed to you; For everyone who asks ReCeiVes; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened ». The Hebrew language understood this well with KaSheR, which means both suitable and successful, while KiShRown means success as well as SKiLL.
This idea of suitability is also contained in the French verb Seoir and the verb « (to) suit », which is also the garment you SLiP on (and the French put on a CheMiSe 🧥) and that fits like a glove. Once more, the Gathas dare to be naughty by associating desire with success. Here is part of Canto XVI (again, based on our French translation):
« Ô Ahura Mazda, My actions, I first offer to You, Then to Righteousness and lastly to Serenity. Now You, tell me your most PReCious DeSiRes and how to lead Your disciple to ViCToRy ? »
Basically, in all the great texts from antiquity, you’ll easily find a second interpretation involving sex. Freud was right: sex is everywhere and has been for hundreds of thousands of years. When you're trying to SuCCeeD, the best is when it goes SMooThly, when it's well-GReaSed. Then everything becomes easier, YuSRa in Arabic, featuring in our fundamental Sura 87 Al ʔaʕLaʔ, verse 8 « We will FaCiLitate for you the WaY of ease » or in the other fundamental Sura 92 Al LayL verse 7: « We shall smooth his way towards ease. » - as opposed to the difficulty ʕuSRa featured in verse 10 « We will facilitate for them the PaTh of HaRDship. » - and you get which path🛣️ and which BLiSS are referred to here.
The Hebrew language too has this connection between ease and the right way, with meyShaR (eaSily) which is therefore also Black ⚫. « But also Yellow 🟡 ». Oops, sorry Polisson. Thank goodness you're here! There is also « eaSe », aiSe in French, which Pharisian etymology is totally bizarre, and which means both well-being (at ease) and to facilitate (it’s easy). How are you feeling? Are you at ease ? « Ça va ? » Are you sure you're all right?

You remember the sucking contraction from Sandor Ferenczi. In Greek, STéNos means that which is NaRRoW, ConSTRiCted, but also that which is SiCkly, PeTTy (ThiN, in a way), found in STeNosis, from STéNo--SiS the narrowing or a narrow PaSSage; a STRaiT, STéNo-QôRos in Greek, or an iSThmus from ἰSṬmos (look how Tau turned into Theta... We'll come back to this later…)
This contraction also appears in SySToLe and DiaSToLe, from SuSToLè and DiaSToLè, the contraction and expansion of the heart or lungs (which have however nothing to do with STéLLô, to send ... We'll come back to that too). Incidentally, DiaSToLè also means ... a SLiT as well as distinction. Here again the slit and hoNoR 🙂. Lastly, in Hebrew, the contraction and narrowness is found in RaKaṢ a narrow pass in Isaiah 40.4.
And then, magically, the SuSPeNSe, the ThRiLLer ends. We're SiMMeRing with impatience, RaḤaSh in Hebrew, we can no longer reSTRaiN ourselves, ḥuwSh in Hebrew - like in this beautiful passage from Job 20. 2 « In truth, my thoughts urge me to answer, And my ReSTlessness cannot be ConTaiNed ».
We are literally experiencing an eMotional SeiZure. Then a great ShiVeR (FRiSSon in French) or ThRiLL comes over us; a great ShuDDer. It's like a SeiSm, from SéiSmos in Greek and Séiô (that which ShaKes). For boys, it goes off, it's the SuRGe, the « SeRVice ». It GuShes out, it shakes, it comes out impetuously. Shoo-Shoo-Shoo !
And suddenly: eCSTaSy (as already seen in my first video on « ShaTa »). At that moment, in the words of Sandor Ferenczi: « It looks as if under the conditions of CoiTus a tension which has been keyed up to a maximum is released unexpectedly and extremely easily, so that a large amount of cathectic energy becomes suddenly superfluous ». Here we have the well-known passage from Isaiah, chapter 61 verse 10: « SowS ʔaSyS ... » « My whole being eXuLTs in my God ! Who has CLoThed me with garments of SaLVation, WRaPPed me in a robe of ViCToRy, Like a BRiDeGRooM adorned with a turban, Like a bride bedecked with her finery »
SowS is to take PLeaSure, to be elated, to reJoiCe, to quiver with JoY, MiSowS or especially SaSown. « QowL SaSown veQowL SiMḥah, QowL ḥaTaN veQowL KaLah », you know this famous WeDDing song « the sound of joy and the sound of pleasure, the sound of the bridegroom and the sound of the bride ». What sound are we talking about? The cries of pleasure from the newlyweds in their hut. Yes, for at night, in the Paleolithic (or even in today’s Pygmies) encampments, you hear everything!
Let's continue with this song « SaMeaḥ teSaMaḥ » The other important word for joy in Hebrew is SaMaḥ to rejoice, SiMḥah joy ShaMaT or BaShaRa in Arabic, ReSh or ReShReSh in Egyptian (notice the repetition - repetition is very important, we'll come back to it). Because when we come, when we eNJoY something (same word in French: Jouir) or when we're joyful, we ShouT for joy. Even if today, saying « Happy holidays » « Hag Samea’h » is enough.
And what's the greatest joy? ChiLDren, of course; bringing them up, but above all making them « yeLaDym Ze SiMḥah ... ». The Romans also remembered SeX at weddings, as Robert Jacob reports in La Parole Impérieuse: « The HaiR of the bride-to-be was arranged by the SPeaR of the groom », you remember haSTa, the spear, the STaKe (we'll come back to the hair soon).
There's also SaWaĠa the DeLiCaCies (DéLiCes in French) in Arabic, or Shaʕaʕ in Hebrew, which also mean CaReSSes, FRolics especially in Isaiah, and ShaʕaShuwʕym to delight in, to enjoy, to CheRiSh. ChéRi, cherish, CheeR! Also the French ChoYer (to PaMPer) or ḥuwSh, already seen and which also means to enjoy in Ecclesiastes 2.25: « For who eats and who enjoys but myself? » says the Lord. Here we find the connection between sexual and GuSTatory pleasure.
